When I was in the middle of writing my post yesterday about Philippa Gregory my Ma came into my room and asked me what I was up to and so I told her about the blog and how I was writing about my favourite author. She encouraged me to take all my P.G. books down from the shelf and show it to you guys but because I’m lazy and the thought of a book falling on my head like it did the last time I took out Bram Stoker’s Dracula to reread, I told her “Nah, its fine” and that was that. So anyway, I came home from uni and I found the most beautiful pile of books that I have ever seen on the table in my bedroom.
Thank you very very much my queen mother!

Ciarra – the actual ‘Most Happy’

very nice books and very lucky girl to have a wonderful Mom,,,
I also have a worryingly large collection of her books, but they are fantastic so we can’t be blamed!
I could not agree with you more! I like your blog, I find that we have a very similar interest actually, I like your top 5 posts especially about the Medieval.
Without that nice pic where would this post be? More importantly, what’s your favourite Philippa Gregory? And why does Hilary Mantel’s recent books on Thomas Cromwell count as literature and Philippa Gregory as potboilers? I really can’t tell the difference, except that PG seems to write historical fiction faster. Nicola http://islingtonfacesblog.com
